Team BPC will be hosting a swim clinic at the Burbank YMCA starting at 1 pm on 6 April 2014. This is an excellent opportunity for those feeling they need extra help in the water, or those just wanting to gain precious seconds by improving their stroke technique. The clinic will be broken down as follows:
- 1 – 3 pm: Video taping and stroke mechanics
- 3 – 5 pm: Video analysis
We will start the clinic by video taping each athlete to get an initial assessment of their stroke mechanics. We will follow up by working through a progression of drills designed to improve form and feel for the water.
Following the swim session we will get changed and move to one of the classrooms. Here we will review the video footage for each athlete, making recommendations for areas of improvement.
The clinic will be led by Breakthrough Performance Coaches – Susan Sotir, David Sek, and Jeffrey Capobianco.
